Draft Day Disaster

I love my Cowboys, but WHAT? You are an average team in a tough division. You need talent. In a draft with less talent than in past years, you must trade up. But you move down? Another example of this team thinking they are better than their 9-7 record. If you were better than 9-7, WHY DID YOU FINISH 9-7?

This draft day disaster started last year for the Cowboys, when they overpaid for Roy Williams. The price for Anquan Bolden makes that obvious. It's nothing new. They overpaid for TO and Crayton. And they overvalue Hurd and Austin. And let Antonio Bryant leave for next to nothing.

In fact, the last really good receiver decision made at Valley Ranch came when Tom Landry drafted Michael Irvin.
